danganronpa 1 is decent. i don't especially love it but it's a neat psp game. dr2 is really bad mostly. the dr3 anime, both of them, is funny but it is more of the worst parts of 2. v3 is a fun game

honestly i don't really like how the prequel anime expands on chiaki because it was, kind of more interesting, when she wasn't canonized as having always been everyone's super perfect friend who held them together. most of how the prequel anime expands on things is only beneficial to like... fat byakuya. he gets good writing. everything else is either stuff i didn't really need filled in or added context that actively makes everything feel stupider
