Anyone know where this female minifigure's torso and legs are from? Can't find them on bricklink, which makes me think they may be custom

This guy rocks The water splash effect on the base is also quite lovely. Really like this model for display. E: posting these pics made me notice that I'd missed a 2x1 flat right on the chest which I've fixed now SadisTech fucked around with this message at 03:25 on Mar 10, 2024 |

Has anyone made a good display for the Saturn V ? Like either a launch pad or separated mid flight? I want to find a better way to display it then just standing free

There was that one where someone put it in an ikea glass case with a bunch of cotton stuffing and orange led's for exhaust. But you'd have to dedicate a huge chunk of floorspace to do something like that.

According to reddit, it's in an ikea detolf, which doesn't appear to exist anymore. But the blaliden looks like the modern version. https://www.reddit.com/r/lego/comments/d8ndka/saturn_v_display/

But yeah you use an entire Detolf worth of display space for 1 model. Wouldn't change it though,

On these new speed champion slicks, is there a good way to cover up the axle? I’m thinking of trying to get a black round tile in there maybe, just curious if anyone else has messed around with em

You can get the blank wheel cover pieces (part 49098), does that not work?

It's disappointing that they forgot to include the most important character of the set on the box (I mean on the little circle icons there).

Two of the pre-printed ones still needed stickers to go on them as well, which seems odd but here we are. The front spoiler part was fun to put together and has some cool technics. The rear spoiler is underwhelming IMO.

I simply leave the stickers in the box and forget about them when I start throwing boxes away

I think it comes down to what kind of detail the license owner wants plus cost of printing. So if they want a bunch of detail in something, it will have to be a sticker.
