My wife is currently watching (and I'm kind of watching) some anime called Grimm Variations, I don't know if it's any good but there are a lot of awesome renditions of classical music pieces in this series that I really appreciate. One episode takes place in an Old West town and they did a bunch of Beethoven with spaghetti western instrumentation that had me  Yes please do the Allegretto from Beethoven 7 as a banjo & accordion duet.

I’m watching my happy marriage and it’s the most light novel anything has ever been ever. It starts as Cinderella but bad and then introduces Esper powers. I actually like the weird family dynasty dynamics it has going on. I will finish it.

i dropped that pretty quick because i wasn't really vibing with the cinderella stuff and the powers were not the wrinkle i was really looking for on top of that. it didn't really seem bad, just not my thing

Yeahhh my happy marriage is quite not good. They wrap up the Cinderella novel halfway through and move on to something worse and every guy not the main one is just utterly repelling.

Probably should finish My Happy Marriage, its on netflix, so it should be easy to finish up. I did like the first bunch of episodes. I think I just lost track around episode 7 or so. I did buy the first volume of the LN when I saw it at Barnes & Noble and read that during its season.

No one cares about cyberpunk takes in the year of our lord 2024 but gosh I did not like this. It reminded me of shinsekai yori where the time skip happens and everyone is now an rear end in a top hat and the show turns into final destination watching everyone die.

I tend to not “enjoy” time skips, but I imagine they’re usually deliberately meant to evoke those negative emotions associated with loss/change, or whatever. I liked both of those shows, though I was surprised at just how much praise Edgerunners got.

I'm both amused and impressed Granblue Fantasy implemented a tutorial mode which gives you a super good grid and a free story grand after the 10th anniversary. Like it's funny it took 10 years but also it's great for new players!
