Majority kid's books, nothing noteworthy. There were bolts in the bottom of the box so the books didn't sit right. All-around terrible.
F

Exclusively kids books. That and the paint job makes it almost like an intentional theme. Only good for kids, or people who know kids.
D

Good variety of stuff, nothing great though. The second shelf is a big plus, and it's shaped like the Yellow Submarine, from The Beatles.
B+, but mainly cause it's shaped like The Beatles

Great mix, but a dozen old Doctor Who novels is the standout for all you WhoHeads. This old-fashioned LFL is on a dead end street and the roof is worn, but this hidden treasure is definitely worth your time.
B

Anne McCaffrey, Neil Gaiman, a book about an Australian motorcycle that runs on butter. Unique double tall construction. A quirky standout that's popular with the teens.
B+

What a selection! Fiction, non-fiction, fantasy, biography, magazines, this LFL has it all! You gotta see it in person, it's huge, and actually has a separate compartment just for magazines! This is easily one of the best LFLs in Houston.
A+

This little guy is crammed full of gems, and the books are in unusually good condition, too! A biography of that flower painting lady, a book about Bigfoot, you never know what you're gonna find! Just be careful, there's dogs in the yard behind it, and the latch is weird.
A-

Can't fault this understated LFL for selection. Dune books and Jon Krakauer's book of evil Mormons make for good reading. It's black, and might be difficult for older readers to find, though.
B

A travel guide to Bhutan, the Red Badge of Courage, Fifty shades of Grey, Neal Stephenson's latest thing, what an eclectic mix! The gorgeous construction speaks for itself. An absolute beauty. This is the stuff LFL dreams are made of.
A+

Well varied selection, solid construction, unassuming brown paint scheme. A workman's LFL. Won't blow your socks off, but won't disappoint either.
B-

Not to mention the LIBERALS indoctrinating children with SOCIALISM. Is there even one good Glen Beck book in all of these or are they entirely made up of Communist Manifestos?

I would not mind. We have hundreds of books ready to go. We don't expect people to return or replace them.

I have like, two hundred extra books. But if I put up a library on my yard (I live right next to the railway station so it would be a good place otherwise), someone would piss on the books and smear poo poo on the door.

if you make it a whole building it turns into shelter for the poor and downtrodden and the heights is very strict about not doing that
