Fanspeak's mock draft game is my favorite thing about the first half of the offseason. If you aren't familiar, you select a draft ranking from sever options and choose a team(s) and # of rounds. You can buy no-ads but why would you? The Draft is the only good thing about this time of year from a football standpoint. http://fanspeak.com/ontheclock/ Post 'em if you got 'em. Bengals: Fanspeak 1. 24: R1P24 ILB REGGIE RAGLAND ALABAMA 2. 55: R2P24 WR COREY COLEMAN BAYLOR 3. 87: R3P24 DT JIHAD WARD ILLINOIS 4. 123: R4P24 K ROBERTO AGUAYO FLORIDA STATE 5. 161: R5P22 S DEANDRE HOUSTON-CARSON WILLIAM & MARY 6. 202: R6P24 C GRAHAM GLASGOW MICHIGAN 7. 243: R7P24 DE ALEX MCCALISTER FLORIDA I would be stupidly pumped for this draft. I love this simulator too, and I spend way too much time using it in the run-up to the draft. Here's mine: Colts, Fanspeak 1.18: R1P18 OLB NOAH SPENCE EASTERN KENTUCKY 2.48: R2P17 OC NICK MARTIN NOTRE DAME 3.82: R3P19 OG JOSHUA GARNETT STANFORD 4.117: R4P18 DT HASSAN RIDGEWAY TEXAS 5.155: R5P16 CB KEIVARAE RUSSELL NOTRE DAME 7.237l R7P18 ILB LUKE RHODES WILLIAM & MARY I would be very happy with this draft, assuming Spence lives up to a significant portion of his hype. Martin and Garnett could both be starters right away on the OL, Ridgeway would be a fine rotational piece on the DL, and Russell and Rhodes are high-upside picks that could turn into starters down the line.

If Ramsey is gone I'd like Baltimore to trade back in the 9-12 range to try for one of Spence or Treadwell. If not possible Spence is a good get talent wise and Boyd is theft in the 2nd. If you can't tell I think the Ravens' main needs are WR, CB, and Pass rusher.

Packers picks, with reasoning. Picked with Fanspeak rankings. 27: R1P27 ILB REGGIE RAGLAND ALABAMA A solid, if unremarkable in coverage, ILB allowing Clay matthews to be moved back to OLB full time. 57: R2P26 DT AUSTIN JOHNSON PENN STATE Another body for the D-line, with BJ Raji's return still in question. Should be able to slot in at DE or possibly split time at NT. 88: R3P25 C RYAN KELLY ALABAMA BPA after a fall, and gives sorely-needed backup at the guard and center positions. 126: R4P27 TE JERELL ADAMS SOUTH CAROLINA Boom/bust pick at TE, with the possibility to turn the weakness at the position around. 132: R4P33 OT JOE DAHL WASHINGTON STATE Bahkatari II: Electric Boogaloo. 138: R4P39 CB TAVON YOUNG TEMPLE With Hayward in question, a CB with upside to contend for depth. 163: R5P24 S MILES KILLEBREW SOUTHERN UTAH Flexible player, should be a boost to special teams as well as project for either safety or linebacker. Could provide some depth at both positions. 203: R6P25 WR JALIN MARSHALL OHIO STATE A one dimensional deep strike threat, but that need is something that was exposed on the roster last year with Nelson out. 246: R7P27 RB JONATHAN WILLIAMS ARKANSAS I expect Fat Raji to no longer be fat this year with his contract year looming and return to the player he once was. However, with Starks a question mark this is another boom/bust pick for depth and the future, mainly depending how he returns from injury.

I bought the fanspeak upgrade and I like it. It proposes trades to you at the beginning of the round, though, not when your pick comes up, which is a shame. but the trades are a lot more realistic than first pick's. and when you propose a trade (your pick or any other time) it lets you look at the upcoming picks, the players available and your picks while you offer the trade

In this scenario, I am... uh.. banking on us signing Sean Smith I guess? I couldn't help myself with the 1st pick, then with the 2nd and 3rd rounders I saw guys that flat out won't fall to Miami in those positions. Those are two guys that can start day 1 and probably do fairly well, especially with my 2nd round selection. He looks like he'll be a day 1 starter and be "average" to "above average" which is a huge upgrade for Miami. Do we need two guards? Hell no. Will we do this? Nah. Makes no sense. This will allow Miami to move Billy Turner to swing tackle, where he's a better player anyways. So now we've got our guard positions locked up, swing tackle in place, and we've got a pure stud at linebacker. But we're desperately weak at corner and safety. We've likely addressed it by signing 1 corner, 1 safety, and a bunch of depth. It's a multi year process, but in hindsight I should have ignored the guard in the 2nd and gone after Darian Thompson from Boise State.
