WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship Tournament Finals Heath Slater and Rhyno defeated the Usos to become the first Smackdown Tag Team Champions. No Holds Barred Match Kane defeated Bray Wyatt after Orton hobbled out and RKO'd Wyatt. A Viper vs. A "God" Bray Wyatt attacked Randy Orton earlier in the show injuring his leg. He won the match via forefit. However he has a No Holds Barred Match next against Kane. WWE Intercontinental Title Match The Miz defeated Dolph Ziggler to retain his championship after Maryse sprayed Ziggler with perfume leading to a Skull Crushing Finale. WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship Tournament 2nd Chance Semi-Finals The Usos defeated The Hype Bros via submission to get in the Finals. WWE Smackdown Women's Championship Six-Pack Elimination Match Becky Lynch defeated Carmella, Nikki Bella, Natalya, Naomi, and Alexa Bliss to become the first Smackdown Women's Champion. Order of Eliminations: Naomi pinned Alexa Bliss, Natalya made Naomi submit, Nikki pinned Natalya, Carmella rolled up Nikki, Becky made Carmella Submit. Pre-Show Kickoff Match Baron Corbin defeated Apollo Crews ------------------------------  SUNDAY, SEPT. 25TH! WWE Universal Championship Match Kevin Owens(c) vs. Seth Rollins WWE Raw Tag Team Championship Match The New Day(c) vs. The Club WWE Raw Women's Championship Match Charlotte(c) w/ Dana Brooke vs. Sasha Banks Owens' Friendship Caused This Match Sami Zayn vs. Chris Jericho ------------------------------ RAW RESULTS Raw opened with Mick Foley in the ring. He put over Smackdown's Backlash PPV before talking about how Raw's PPV Clash of Champions is next. He talks about the main event being Kevin Owens defending the Universal Title against Seth Rollins however tonight is Roman Reigns vs. Owens and if Reigns wins it is a triple threat. Foley then talks about crowning of the Smackdown Women's Champion and for that he brings out Raw Women's Champion Charlotte. Charlotte has Dana Brooke with her and says an apology needs to be issued and is talking about Dana being a huge loser and disappointment. Charlotte talks down to Dana so much that Foley can't announce who Charlotte's opponent is at the next PPV. Sasha Banks comes out and talks about how she's getting her rematch and how she embarrassed Dana. Bayley then comes out and says that seeing as she beat the current champion she deserve a title shot too. Dana says that both of them should just wrestle each other first and Charlotte is for some reason mad about two potential opponents hurting each other before facing her. Foley says thats a great idea and makes Bayley vs Sasha Banks. Charlotte gets pissed and talks down to Dana yet again until Dana snaps and slaps her. Foley jumps at the occasion and makes it Bayley vs. Sasha vs. Dana in a triple threat NEXT. Sasha Banks defeats Bayley and Dana Brooke by rolling up Bayley to get her rematch against Charlotte. Sasha's shoulders were also down. Dana is still kissing Charlotte's butt and is getting bossed around backstage after slapping her. The Shining Stars were backstage talking to R-Truth about visiting Puerto Rico. They have a timeshare for him and he can meet celebrities like J-Lo and Ricky Martin. Truth almost hands them his credit card until Goldust steps in and escorts away Truth. The Stars turn around into Big Cass and Enzo Amore. They call the Shining Stars a coupa conmen who they have unfinished business with. The Stars insult Enzo and Cass in Spanish and walk away. Enzo says he's gonna pick up a second language next time. Tom Phillips is backstage interviewing Universal Champion Kevin Owens. Owens is still calling him the wrong name. He promises that Roman Reigns won't be added to the match. Jericho is standing behind Tom and is mad at Foley for stealing the guest of the Highlight Reel away from him tonight. He says instead his guest will be Owens' former friend Sami Zayn. He says he's gonna prove that Sami is nothing but a Stupid Idi-It! Bo Dallas came out with his Bolieve in Bo sign for another squash match. He rhymes in a promo that the only person that the Bolieve catchphrase was for was him the whole time. Bo Dallas defeated local talent Brandon Scott with the Cross Rhodes. Jericho invites Sami to the Highlight Reel. He wanted the highest of the highs with Owens but will settle with the lowest of the low with Sami. Sami says Jericho is a fool if he doesn't know how Owens really treats his friends. Jericho says he's BFFs and has been texting Owens all night because Owens has a new phone number that Sami can't have. Sami questions what became of the world traveling wrestler that he and Owens looked up to because from what he sees Jericho's just become Owens' bitch. Jericho says he got a text from Owens about Sami and asked if he wanted to see it before smashing the phone on Sami's head then hitting a Codebreaker. A video is aired of Cesaro defeating Sheamus over seas on a house show in what was a Best of Seven series match finally making the score 3-1 and avoiding a sweep. Cesaro defeats Sheamus in their Best of Seven series by using the ropes making it 3-2 Seth Rollins comes into Foley's office and says he thought him and Foley were on each others sides now, but adding Roman to the title match is back in Steph's pocket. Foley is pissed about his integrity being judged and demands Seth to not interfere in the match. Seth agrees but calls Foley a fool if he really trusts Steph and HHH. Alicia Fox comes out for a match. Nia Jax is backstage getting interviewed like one of her many jobbers. She says doesn't deal with Alicia's crazy and will make it so she either gives up or stays down. Nia Jax vs. Alicia Fox goes to a no contest when Nia spears Alicia through the barricade and leaves her laying. New Day come out and cut a promo on Gallows and Anderson having a terrible segment last week with the Old Day. They are the longest reigning modern Tag Team Champions in a long time and are here to celebrate that. Anderson and Gallows come out and said the jokes are over and they're going to win the titles at Clash of Champions. The Club defeat Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. Reigns is interviewed backstage as he's walking around and says the only way he's getting in the Universal Title match is when he kicks KO's rear end. WWE hypes up the LIVE 2 HOUR FINALS OF THE CRUISERWEIGHT CLASSIC AIRING AT 9PM EST ON THE WWE NETWORK and that the Cruiserweights will be on Raw NEXT WEEK!!! Jinder Mahal is out and is billed that he Comes in Peace. He cuts a promo about how he's been on a journey after leaving WWE. He's gone to monasteries and temples to pray. He's found inner peace and has let go all his anger in life. He says namaste and wants the crowd to join in on chanting peace and they crowd isn't having any of it. Out comes Real American Jack Swagger to destroy this peace lover. Jinder Mahal defeats Jack Swagger. After the match Swagger is walking backstage and gets stopped. He's asked by Tom Phillips what's next for Jack Swagger because everyone knows that his WWE Raw contract is expiring soon. Swagger just storms off. Enzo Amore and Big Cass come out and cut a promo on The Shining Stars, specifically Epico because its Enzo vs. Epico up next. Shining Stars are handing out pamphlets to fans to come and buy one of their time shares. Epico defeats Enzo Amore. Primo and Cass got involved and Primo held Enzo's feet down while Epico pinned Enzo. Kevin Owens is walking to the ring for his match when Seth Rollins stops him. Owens says if Rollins touches him he loses his one on one title shot, but Rollins says he doesn't want to give up his chance to beat HHH's new golden boy one on one. Owens comments how he doesn't believe Rollins can beat him as he's had people help him win his whole title reign and since he's been back he's only lost. Owens says the new catchphrase "Redesign, Rebuild, Reclaim" should be more like "Redesign, Rebuild, Replaced." Foley shows up an tells Owens to knock it off and get to the ring. Foley tells Rollins he knows he wants revenge on Owens but if he interferes in the match there will be serious consequences. Kevin Owens has a match based around avoiding Roman Reigns and putting him in multiple headlocks and literally nothing happened until Seth attacked Owens. Owens won the match via DQ and Roman was out of the Universal Title match. However Foley and agents come out and pull Seth off Owens. Foley says that Seth couldn't listen and now they're gonna have a talk and the consequences will be handed out. Foley says the match isn't ending that way and is being restarted. Kevin Owens defeats Roman Reigns by pinfall after Rusev returns and distracts Roman Reigns. Rusev continues to assault Roman Reigns as Lana watches to end the show.

Smackdown status: still the A show. Weird Mick Foley bit aside the Raw main was pretty solid, though, and I'm pretty into the idea of Sami Zayn and Jericho feuding. I just wish Raw didn't have so much loving chaff.

oh, Jericho and Sami were great and I'm looking forward to their match. Actually looking back all the matches Raw set up tonight should be pretty good but everything in between was dire. Maybe its like the opposite of SmackDown Live where they'll set up a strong card on paper and then everyone shits the bed
