Forgot to post proof that at some point in the last 14 years my save disappeared so I do not have Veteran unlocked. I respect the rules. Also how has it been 14 years Jesus.

Also finished up Moscow and a few missions in Taipei since taking the screenshot. Done playing for now but at this rate maybe I can get this run finished before the end of the weekend and get started on Veteran.

Checking the suave option for emailing Mina near the start and he just unprompted rambles about having a drunk sexual encounter with her in the supply closet and telling their grandkids about it. I still don't know if this writing is magnificent or the stupidest thing I've ever seen

Great game, ended up beating it in like three sittings lol. I played it like a shooter, mowed down everyone except the people Mina would get mad at me for killing (and even then a handful of the civilian guards in Taiwan ate some lead when I ran out of tranqs), after a while I couldn't sneak up on enemies in the heavy armor so the closest thing to stealth I could do was dropping a few guys with subsonic AR rounds before their buddies noticed and things got loud. Looking forward to doing a proper stealth run for my Veteran trophy.

Intercept Shaheed and recover the missiles.

beat this once right after release and i was meaning to give it another run this year. my main memory of this game is there's a time cube reference and a boss fight set to an autograph song.

Great game. Relied on Iron Will and a Shotgun for most of this run, "Stealth" was just walking up to dudes I didn't want to kill and karate chopping them while they tried to shoot me.
This one turned out a little different than my recent Impsmas run, didn't realize it was possible to get The elusive Parker as an ally without saving a certain someone earlier. I don't think I'll see everything even if I play through this 5 more times.

That completes my Veteran run. I'll start up Rookie in a few days

Good poo poo. Felt like actually going full stealth would be really difficult, but I had fun sneaking around head shorting dudes with a silenced pistol then switching to a machine gun once I got caught. I'm doing a good guy idiot run I guess, haven't executed anyone and basically always agree to cooperate with whoever talked to me last :frogbon:

Top to bottom, one of my favorite games of all time. I'd been planning on replaying it after telling one of my co-workers about it as he'd just played New Vegas for the first time and had never heard of Alpha Protocol. Can't wait to play it four fuckin times.

Got Rikku, lol how you just literally trip over her and everyone accepts her joining the party.

I like the pilgrimage setup, your party has an important goal but it's not like an imminent doom situation that clashes with the chill vibes. And everyone loves seeing a map with a dotted line showing your progress

: Beat the game as a SUAVE agent

played through with the former agent background, went with stealth/pistols/the tech skill that makes you better at hacking, bumped up martial arts most of the remaining way as well. did a stealth/nonlethal playthrough, though the count at the last mission said I had one collateral kill, I think from when Darcy blew up one of his own dudes with a bunch of grenades but I'm not sure. was friendly to almost everybody except Leland, let everyone live when given the option except Brayko, the loving creep trying to pimp out his sisters to me was too much. teamed up with al samad to bring down the other two orgs. got a perk for turning Marburg but then he got stabbed and I fought him anyway which seemed odd. managed to get about 94% dossier completion on both orgs and individuals, didn't check the final exact tally

cool game, good gameplay and a fun plot. I can tell there's a lot of depth to it depending on what you do, tempted to jump back in with an assault rifle and a bad attitude and see what happens. the perk system is really fun, nice to get those little boosts where the game notices what you're doing and gives you rewards. I like the reactive stealth skills a lot, wouldn't mind seeing those with a cooldown or other resource cost in other stealth games. I get that it's a game about decisions, but some of them felt a little forced to me, especially when I convinced Sung that there were people inciting riots at his rally but he wouldn't believe me that there would be an assassination attempt for some reason. it's fun watching Thorton make an rear end of himself when he's being suave. nice pick!

lol. I'm looking forward to seeing how they do Cait sith in the remake because in the original it's like "gosh, who sold us out to shinra? is it my childhood friend whose parents I saw murdered by shinra in front of me? the person whose mom i met while she was running from shinra? the animal I saved from a lab who i watched cry in front of his dad's ghost? it can't have been the random casino robot who has never said anything about himself except that he's following us. maybe the huge guy who keeps shouting "I hate shinra!" with a genuine, miserable fury?"
