Also I can't really hate the finish, kind of reminds me of the Dark Order losing to the Elite with Hangman leaving, pretty stunning ending but in the long run it wound up working out okay. Not sure I'd say I'm disappointed but definitely surprised. Also considering Hangman is PROBABLY going to win tomorrow I think AEW can have a lil bad ending, as a treat.

angles going for longer than they feel like they should in AEW is usually because something came up that stalled things out, either medically or for travel-related reasons. i wouldn't be surprised to hear that the whole chaos thing was supposed to happen ages ago

I'm guessing Best Chaos vs HFO, Team Taz vs Toppest Flight (maybe Sydal and Moriarty join? or Darius comes back so it's Lio, Dante, Darius vs Ricky, Hobbs and Hook?) and Hangman vs Miro are gonna be the feuds that start hot immediately post-PPV, vs having the usual post-PPV Dynamite that starts setting everything up.

I think the biggest problem with that finish is that OC literally said before the match "hey, this is over after tonight" and then you have an ending where it is most definitely not over.
