Boudicca is always considerate enough to clean up after herself, well before we can get to it. She's been a lot better since we switched her to prescription food, but whenever she gets her nose in some trash, she has either a very runny tummy or a vom session in the garden.

The worst is that she refuses to poo in the garden, and must be taken for a walk around the block. Which is not fun when it's an emergency 2am poo.

I’m gonna try putting less water in her food because I think it just lets her slurp it up faster.

Upset greyhound tummies are no fun. Usually Katie has troubles for a few days before it clears up and we have to go out multiple times per night so I end up as a zombie. I think they feel some kind of natural hesitation to go when they feel something isn’t quite right down there so yeah we have to trudge around for like 20 minutes in the cold dark rain before she’ll finally commit to doing something.

Interesting - can't say I've ever had to take them out on a walk to draw out a poop. Taz always goes 2-3 times on a walk so it would definitely work for him (although he's comfortable going at home, anyway) but both Opal and Lana hate the idea of pooping in public oddly, so they hold it in until we get back

Lana ate something she wasn't supposed to, before I got home from work. (And was of course told off for it) Then later when I got home, she of course did her best to be a li'l cutie pie, 100% innocent of all crimes

She's a natural, I dare say. It's hard for me to be annoyed at that face! :D

Lana’s presenting pretty irrefutable evidence that she did nothing wrong

Your post reminded me that Katie got a :burger: yesterday. No reason

I am willing to believe that anything she accidentally wasn't supposed to eat just popped into her mouth and against her will. How has she settled in?

Both very good points! And I hope Katie enjoyed her burg - judging from her licking her lips though, I'm sure she did! :D

Regarding Lana settling in, she's actually been doing pretty well, I think! She and Tazo have gotten along well. He growled at her once early on when she tried laying down right next to him with his favourite toy (a big purple squeaky dodo plushie), but after that he realised she wasn't a threat to his toys.
Skip ahead to now, and... she hogs the dodo :v: He doesn't mind though - they alternate, which is real good. I don't think he's ever been this OK with another dog literally pinching his favourite toy from between his paws!

Aw :3:

The big lug left an impression even virtually, I can only imagine his presence was fairly unforgettable in person

Does anyone here have any experience with Librela? The vet recommended it for Boudicca's arthritis and it seems almost too good to be true. Will probably go ahead with at least one treatment but just wanted to hear if anybody in the thread has any experience with it.

Bonus cosy doggo tax

My 12 year old grey is on it, it's as good as they say. He's doing brilliantly with it.
