I'm playing Y7 Like A Dragon right now and I don't know if I am having a good time or not. Game isn't fun to play but I keep playing it for some reason. Up to chapter 10. Only other yak game I've played is half of 0, so I'll probably restart that and continue chronologically from there when I'm done with this. ----------------

0, 5 and k2 are all top tier, but I liked both LaD and IW. k1 and lost judgment are also worth it. 3, 4 Ishin! and judgment are only for completion.

Mostly agreed but I thought the atmosphere and story of Judgment was fantastic. At some point I hope they remember they can actually have both great gameplay and great story in the same game

Kenzan's a little older (pre-3 as opposed to pre-5) so I think they'd have to put a lot more effort into it, unfortunately. Dead Souls feels like it's gotta be easy, the arcade rail shooter that's in the Judgment games must be built off the back of it.

I have no idea if there’s any desire within RGG Studios or a market for it among the general audience but I’d love a Dead Souls remake. Or even just a straight port to get it working on modern hardware, it’s got enough jank and awkwardness in the controls to benefit from a full remake but just getting off the PS3, which can barely run the game if there’s a ton of stuff happening on-screen, would be good enough for me.
