Me and some friends published a rather successful "zine" in high school that ended up going nationwide (about a thousand subscriptions). Got a nice small following and then had to deal with the repercussions of some young girls that ran away from home to come see us. They gave us a cool video of a then unknown band playing in a garage who ended up being Jane's Addiction. It was interesting times. Peaked? Maybe. I had more fun back then, that's for sure. Added: Holy poo poo! I googled our old zine title Funhouse Mirror and it's actually mentioned in a book published in 2014 called Notes from Underground: Zines and the Politics of Alternative Culture

I peaked in high school for sure. I had a hot girlfriend who loved the sex, and like a million friends that I was pretty close to. Now I live with an emotionally co-dependent woman who gets mad when I kiss her, and the only local friends that I have were her friends first  otoh I got a STEM degree so I make enough money to live comfortably without mooching off of my family, and get to engage all my dumb nerd hobbies. I transformed into like the sad version of a Sitcom dad.
