Neil Robertson has entirely lost his game. It's amazing to watch.

He found it again. Only took him a session.

Lol Higgins has been dogshite all year and he's going to win this anyway ain't he?

Form at the right time. But I reckon Judd's got it.

Higgins baffles me on multiple levels, the indefatigable cheating shite. His game's probably more suited to thwarting Trump, mind. Then again the final could be the Who's Who of Who's That at this rate.

Robertson's safety and positional game absolutely fell apart in the final session yesterday, which allowed Higgins in to win despite making a number of errors himself. The final century clearance from Higgins was a really good break but apart from that he didn't do anything special it was just Robertson continually failing to score much more than 30 breaks before his position would fall apart due to losing control of the cue ball. His safety place was rancid too - Higgins only got in for that final century because Robertson dropped the cue ball between the blue and green/brown on a completely standard up and down safety shot.

After a nervy start the angry farmer looks like taking a 5-3 lead over Higgins.

I wonder if this will be the attacking game to counteract the defence in the other. Higgins is looking so scrappy.

Now Judd is playing some shite. Bit of a weird tournament for the favourites this year.

The BM refusal to concede is very powerful.

I like to think Wilson forgot how to count, idiotic move otherwise.

John Virgo is getting just a bit too excitable in his old age.

Gilbert 4 frames up on Higgins and looking fairly steady. Higgins is not playing great. The way that final frame of the session went, Gilbert taking it on a decisive black after Higgins failed a fairly straightforward blue, could be the critical moment of the match giving Gilbert a shot at the upset...

Higgins only got this far due to his safety play. If he can't recover it here he ain't going to pull this back.

Well this sure is some scrappy snooker

Questionable snooking all round.

EXTREMELY questionable snooking from the Higgins.

Higgins had one of his worst ever days at the Crucible, which meant he could only nab the high break and reduce his arrears to two.

Higgins almost compiled the greatest 147 of all time, which is the sort of standard he'll have to keep up to even so much as get back into this.

Fun old session that, two crazy maximum attempts, a century of centuries, and Higgins doing everything he could just to share the session. Should be finished in time for Mark Selby's lot to decide the fate of the Premier League, so there's that.
