Conversely (and someone pointed this out last night), six of the seven NFC playoff teams feel locked in beyond seeding: Eagles Cowboys Lions Vikings Seahawks Niners And then whoever emerges from the NFCS clown car.

But the Commies sold away their defensive line and the Buccs are too inconsistent. think.

MJeff posted:... From a quick glance over the stats it does seem right. They tend to give up plays that are just short of the 10-yard/20-yard cutoff, so maybe that's why it feels different? Along with the overall numbers, the Lions have allowed 0 explosive runs for touchdowns and 2 explosive passes for touchdowns.

I don't think firing Ken Dorsey is going to fix the problems of Josh Allen's bad decision making and not having a second able bodied skill position player after Diggs.

…Brian Daboll got a HC job off his tenure as Bills OC. Ken Dorsey killed an absurdly high-powered offense with predictable and unimaginative scheming and play-calling. They are not the same.

I noticed the last couple of games that other teams seem to have an easy time reading what the Bills are doing on offence. Some of the recent picks have been incredibly obvious reads for the D. They definitely got complacent and predictable, so firing the play caller makes some sense to try to shake things up. The Bills are playing below their potential so might as well shake it up now and see if they can go on a run to get back into a wild card. They have long odds but it’s not impossible, yet anyways.
