SUCK A MALE CAMEL'S DICK WITH MIRACLE WHIP!!
It seems like every other commercial I see on my antenna is either Shriner's Hospital, Car warranty with Ice T and Vivica A Fox or Camp Lejeune settlement advertising.

Best one ever though was from the 1980s involving the Gum Fighter going up against Rock Jaw Jim, the STRONGEST JAW IN TOWN in a chew down.
Hubba Bubba gum always seemed to win against Brand X gum.

The Carshield Commercial universe with Ice T and Viveca Fox. It's a spin off from the OG Vivica Fox Carshield commercials where that was her catchphrase - "Darlings". She did quite a few ads for them before Ice T showed up for these higher stakes and budget ads.

The internet leads me to believe that everyone under the age of 25 does not know how to use ad blockers, so kudos if she's cognizant on how to avoid commercials in general.

I don't know why but this reminds me of something when I was a kid and Queens' Bohemian Rhapsody was still widely played on the radio.

We changed 'Mama Mia!' to 'Diarrhea!' as in: "Diarrhea! Diarrhea! Do it in the bin when your mother isn't in, Diarrhea!" There was more to it but I can't remember. This was in the early 90's in rural Ireland so what we came up with as kids is probably lost to mists of time. I tried looking for the lyrics online but all I can find is this and I don't think it's the same thing we came up with as kids.

Schoolground jingles could be its own entire thread.
I suspect there's not much consistency in the lyrics since they get passed around via oral tradition.

Anyway, our school's "Diarrhea!" song was actually "Mamma Mia" by ABBA rather than Bohemian Rhapsody.

The Great Twist
I don't have a link but I remember there was a sun glasses commercial where the premise was these slick urban vampires could watch the sun rise as long as they had this specific brand of shades on. So they're all leathered up and sitting on the steps of a building pre-dawn when one guy rushes in and reaches for his shades--but they aren't in his pocket!

As the sun comes up he explodes into ash while the other cool vampires laugh.

That's my memory of it, I think it stuck in my head because they seemed like cool Vampire the Masquerade vampires.

they only consume media via netflix, disney, spotify, and occasionally youtube when i put something on for them (theyre not allowed youtube on their own), all of which i have set up to be ad-free. i never listen to the radio in the car. so they've basically never been exposed to cable tv ads or radio ads. her and her 8-yo sister were at a friends house and watching cable tv and saw commercials there for the first time and were very confused at what was going on lmao

those loving charmin bears are so grating I have avoided charmin products for years despite not having strong opinions otherwise

mostly I enjoy when ad campaigns completely gently caress up because I like to imagine how many people were involved in bringing it to fruition. imagine being in the board room after the McDonald’s “i’d hit that” campaign went live, or the Folgers incest commercial first aired. lmfao
