post controversial opionion to get more engagement the internet (the new one (sucks worse than the old one (i mean i guess, i don't really miss the prevalence of irony/insincerity/being an rear end in a top hat for laughs i'm not 14 anymore and the horrors of the modern internet trend more towards a capitalism top-down nightmare which like yeah the early internet had a ton fo huge problems but there were still weridoes being weird on it now everything is just corporate everyone has to exist next to an advert so everyone needs to be advertiser friendly and it's pretty bad the sterilization is creeping into language and it's establishing some really hosed up memes (in the actual sense of memes, not like, you know, the modern internet meaning)))) taught me this
