You know, I'm quite frequently critical of New Japan. Their tour schedule has been weird, some of their booking has been absolute nonsense, they refuse to treat Strong as an actual brand with direction and purpose. But goddamn. When it comes to putting on main event professional wrestling that MATTERS, there are few like them.

Cup played out better than expected and ZSJ is a great winner. ZSj needs to win the title and than face Bryan for it in a battle of rear end hole grapplers and factions (Suzuki-Gun vs Blackpool Combat club would be amazing) Amazing how good ZSJ has been for New Japan and how good New Japan/Suzuki-Gun has been for ZSJ. Hard to imagine him as just a technical wrestler that he was before he joined Suzuki-gun

Just caught up on the Quarters all the way to the Finals today. Good god, this entire tournament made Zack look like an absolute nightmare to be in the ring with. It was like ANY move could be countered into a deadly submission in a split second. And Ospreay definitely tapped. Hammer-fist my rear end.  edit: please don't hammer-fist my rear end
