The point of Islamic terrorist attacks in western countries is to create fear in the populace, make life harder for Muslims in that country, and to cause financial harm to that country. People voted Brexit because it would "stop immigration" and "send them home" largely meaning brown terroristy people. One of the major nations of the Earth, and perhaps America's most active military ally has decided to withdraw from the international stage. Brexit is about to do more financial harm to Britain than any event since at least WW2. We aren't going to be in a position to go Crusading with America any more. That's a pretty loving big long-term success. Obviously there were other reasons varying from economic despair to gullible people believing obvious lies and false promises, but at the core it was a vote to get rid of immigrants.
