It was weird when it went to commercial and it was the Progressive Bob-as-a-pigeon one.

Christmas ep: bad. "Linda gets obsessed with something and ends up ruining what should be a fun thing for the family" is something they should stop doing, along with the "kids tell a monkey-cheese story, visualized" episodes. Mission ep: pretty good, but stressful because of Teddy not shutting up.

This is a slight tangent related to Linda and Christmas episodes but I HATE that in The Bleakening everyone acts like Linda is being unreasonable at the party. They stole her loving Christmas tree, covered in irreplaceable ornaments made by her children. She was right the cops and the nude model character whose name I can't remember should of been torn out by the rest of the party goers.

It was funny how Bob and Teddy actually did get away with it and the owner never found out.

I thought for sure that guy was going to walk back in and find Bob.

Two months later... 12: Jade in the Shade On a tour of the town's bootlegging history, Linda and Louise stumble into a treasure-hunting adventure; Bob, Tina and Gene play host to a group of street performers looking to settle a beef.

LividLiquid posted:Holy poo poo! When was this? It's my favorite movie of all time (not the *best* movie, mind; just my favorite,) but I was high when I watched this ep last night and didn't catch it. Ah, that's because it's me being an idiot--it was a reference to Sneakers.

What a dumb way to do a season.

I am guessing it's a half season because of the writers' and actors' strike?

Mainly think it is stupid that this season was 13 episodes from October to May with a 2 month gap between 11 and 12 and then another 2 months between 12 and 13

Season finale wasn't paradigm-shifting but also not a tragedy. And lol at how Bob has grown re: what he expects of his kids and what he's willing to quickly move on from. First season he has a hang-up about Tina telling him about jock itch. And the idea of her having a serious crush on a boy fazed him. Now, she casually drops wanting a boy to touch her butt and he's like 'okay....'

There's a lot of good individual episodes from the most recent seasons, but the scheduling is so sporadic, I feel way less engaged than I want to be.
