When I was like 18 months into going hardcore for a black belt, the Grandmaster chose me to demonstrate a move for the class and he did so saying "redshirt, come, you're a good fighter" and honestly it was the best compliment I've ever got. I had little hearts in my eyes and swoon emojis over my head when he said it.
