As someone who 99% follows WWE through this forum alone there's definitely a little bit of a "well the Blood Money crew went through a terrible ordeal of a flight delay forcing Smackdown to call on the NXT crew for simplistic booking and fresh matchups with the conscientious objectors and people barred from KSA because of bigotry and that once again proves that everyone will be ok when Vince is gone" vibe I'm getting. There's pushback too. And I enjoy the discourse. But like... there's no question that whatever people think morally of WWE there's a whole lot of posters who want it to be good and need only the slightest encouragement to renew hope. Which I think runs counter to the recent narrative that the place is primarily occupied by WWE haters.

Wonder if maybe some of the sucking up tonight was because maybe there are tensions on the deal and Saudi Arabia wants to pull out on principle, anger or whatever. i have a friend who is one of those creeps that hangs out at the airport to get autographs, and he said that when the wrestlers got off the airplane, they were actually all Saudi Arabians dressed up to look like the wrestlers. he got a lot of autographs though, they were really friendly with the fans and happy to be recognized.
