I wish I had cats who got along this well. I've had multiple cats for most of the past ~20 years but they've always barely tolerated each other and none of them would ever snug up together like this in a million years.

Yeah we had Rex for like seven years and he always wanted a cuddle/wrestling partner and my old lady cat was not about it. Shep has brought a lot of love into the house.

I realize this is not strictly about black cats, but I got home a little while ago during the worst rain storm we’ve had in a week of bad storms, and I heard screaming outside my bedroom window. I went outside to find the water was standing more than an inch high, and three little kittens were on the tallest spots they could find. We brought them inside, combed them, and warmed them up, and have made food and a warm towel available for them before I take them to a shelter. Pray for my temporary garbanzos.

 I guess this is time-limited then haha. And YES, we did get this out of her mouth before she ate any of it. She also went to the groomer this weekend and did great! She actually kinda liked the dryer, she started rolling around in it while they were working.
