Gruesomely.

It's actually pretty lovely so far, it's just weird misery porn and not at all engaging like the first one was.

I think it's terrible, it's mostly all just cutscenes an dealing with idiotic characters. There's hardly any puzzle solving and it's really drat weak, the DLC for the first game is better.

With all of this focus on dog death, I'd be shocked if we didn't get The Thing in one of the remaining streams. Its based on a book too, so it qualifies.

Other way around. The book is a novelization of the film.

Who Goes There?, the novella that inspired the original 1951 movie and it's 1982 remake, was published in 1938.

So...you think the Haunting remake is...better? than the Nightmare On Elm Street remake?? I'm going to need more elaboration on this one.

Is the 7th iteration just going to be called "Scream Stream" and only feature reboots?

7 will be "Cream Stream" and it's only porn parodies.

Yes. The Haunting remake has Liam Neeson getting beat up by a giant stone statue while Owen Wilson gets his head ripped off by a lion statue, and NoES remake has Rooney Mara painting and Jackie Earle Haley playing Ring Around The Rosie.

This'll be an interesting night for hearing the responses for the new viewers of the films. Both are probably pretty polarizing. Also I didn't realize Don't Look Now was a book.

Does your limiting to 2 of an author's work mean no more Matheson after tonight?

Nah, that only applied to King and Barker, to keep me from filling up the entire stream with easy choices. Anyone else is fair game for more.

I'll be curious to see the reaction to Don't Look Now. The "why hasn't anything happened yet" people that usually can't deal with the more slow burn type films may have a hard time with it.
