They've been showing lot of Chyna's matches on WWE.com, and I expect a more extensive video package of her on there, where they're not scrutinized like the TV show is.

Her manager has said it was an accidental overdose of Valium and Ambien, which can be shockingly easy to do, particularly if you're already under the influence as it is.

I fully expect them to put Chyna in the HOF now, if only because waiting this long is classic sleazy WWE. "Well now that she's dead we don't have to risk giving her a live mic and airing dirty laundry." Can't wait for X-Pac to give the most awkward speech ever. E: On second thought it will probably be someone like Charlotte or Natalya so they can play up the "inspired a generation of women" angle.

LadyPictureShow posted:Last year my psych prescribed me a med called trazodone as a sleep aid. Said if one pill didn't work, take a second one. Didn't put me to sleep, just messed me up. That, plus taking Lexapro and Welbutrin for depression/anxiety triggered a rare thing called Serotonin syndrome (basically the combo of SSRIs like, overloaded the Serotonin in my system). By the time I wound up in the hospital, the only symptoms I didn't have were seizures and death. Didn't even really realize what was happening because two symptoms were addled thinking and hallucinations. Holy poo poo, you are incredibly lucky that you're still alive. I hope things are better for you now.

Especially if it included an instance of Ambien 'sleepwalking'. I've known people that got up to some serious poo poo when on Ambien and had no memory of what they did the next day. Hope it wasn't along the lines of 'popped Ambien, zonked out, took too many Valium without realizing what she was doing'. If they have somebody induct her into the HOF, I think Billy Gunn would be a decent choice. From what I've heard, he lost the possibility of some big pushes because he was on Chyna's side and stuck by her when things were going bad behind the scenes. Regrettable posted:Holy poo poo, you are incredibly lucky that you're still alive. I hope things are better for you now. Yeah, I bounced back physically and mentally once it was out of my system. Emotionally I was kind of wrecked up about it for a while (and I still remember flipping out at a nurse at the hospital because they tried to give me trazodone as a sleep aid a few days into my stay) LadyPictureShow fucked around with this message at 00:57 on Apr 28, 2016 |

Billy Gunn isn't exactly on good terms with the WWE at the moment. Though hall of fame is nearly a year off so they might have forgiven and forgotten his indiscretion by then

I don't know how long he's been out of WWE, but the Chyna/Eddie team-up seemed to have gone over well (and I don't remember if Chavo was part of that storyline). It could be a nice nod, but it's anybody's guess if/when they'll put her in, or if they'll have somebody close to her induct her.

Yeah I think Foley's daughter is probably who'll they'll get. Apparently she had gotten back on decent terms with some other wrestlers before she died so they could do someone like Nash I guess. Billy Gunn would have also been a good choice but he's obviously on the outs right now so Foley and his daughter are probably the best bet.

Chavo was still in WCW at that point, and by the time he got to the WWE, the Chyna/Eddie storyline was done and dusted. If I remember correctly, the first instance of Chavo in his post-WCW career was in the skybox at WM17 with a bunch of other WCW guys. At that time, Chyna was feuding with Ivory and the Rights to Censor while Eddie was European champion and facing Test.

Hah you learn something new every day! I remember during a New Age Outlaw shoot video I watched years and years ago him and Road Dogg were laughing saying "I did the drugs to make me look good, Road Dogg did the drugs that make you feel good!" which I know is common knowledge but I always think of it. Billy Gunn's reaction to all of this:

Sucks if she just OD'ed, but it'd suck more if it was a 100% accident, not just an 'accident'. Like some other posters have said, sometimes if you're on a sleep med, you can do poo poo without really realizing it/get foggy and forgetful and not remember 'oh, I already took my pills'. So really, no OD would be the most preferable, but still.
