resurrecting this dead thread about this dead game to say on a complete whim after too much hades i came back to this after a 6 month break and somehow, on my first attempt and for the first time ever, beat it at 2BC, and that's going through the lovely distillery that i hate i was kind of carried by a beast mode rapier and the armadillo pack, so every roll was a parry and every parry boosted my melee, i also had the Slay the Spire card to stack poison and the cute evil sea-spider pet but I dunno how much those helped, i had a bow too but basically forgot it existed and then of course i tried 3BC and died on like the second level lol
