Rookie OTAs don't mean much of anything but I like that Canales was gushing about Legette's athleticism and Coker's polish for a UDFA. Canales still gives me camp counselor vibes but he's very, very specific on his goals about fundamentals and systems. Considering how no one ever seemed to be on the same page offensively last year it makes sense but at least its the right things for a change.

Yeah I was of the opinion very quickly that you've got to pick a direction and stick even if it's not an ideal thing because even a badly designed play and scheme executed well is going to be better than the constant chopping and changing. My hopes are still fairly low for the season with the bar being "competence" at this point. At least with what canales is talking about with building a roster, building a team and a scheme and being on the same page etc etc etc Means that even if Bryce isn't the guy there will be some development outside him of the rest of the investment this year.

(And also before he was Rams OC) I’m looking forward to having him as OC. He already knows Baker and he has had success in the past.
