Anyone still playing, knows there's a reminder every time you open the game that it's early access and your save data could be lost. It happened to us on my Awful Pals of NA host. First thing I'm going to recommend for anyone whose files haven't shat themselves yet, back your stuff up regularly. The way this game makes save data isn't a bit intuitive... I can't tell if the devs made it so screwy on purpose to foil tampering, or if this is what we get for early access. APoNA apparently wasn't running autobackups via the g-portal host. Some kind of poo poo hit the fan with just one of the many files associated with host & player save data, and it cacked all the players. I had to do a clean reinstall. I'm not letting disastrous corruption keep me down, or my host. Interest has probably wound down again from the last major update, but if anyone's interested in starting fresh on a goon-run host that is definitely running daily backups now, access info is in the Private Games Palworld thread.

I suspect a lot of folks have probably burned out / written this game off until the next content thing but my host (info in Private Games) is still up, very underutilized, and due to the reset a month or so back there's lots of good base spots up for grabs.

Yeah I basically got frustrated with pals not working at the base properly when nobody was there so I’m just waiting for more updates.

Looks like they're really cramming a lot into it. Hopefully it also makes idle base pals wander literally anywhere other than directly in front of me when I'm trying to build poo poo

Updates New Island: Sort of fantasy feudal Japan New Pals: 4 shown off, only one I thought was cool was a treasure chest mimic Xbox dedicated servers Level Cap raised New Buildings (probably themed like the new Island) New Raid Stronghold Oil Rig Arena New Faction with Boss Is the Arena the planned PVP pal battles? It looked like it was set up for a 3v3 pal vs pal fight but then cuts to a player firing their weapons into a crazy melee.
