I couldn't find a thread for tortoises/turtles and don't know enough to start a thread about it, but I really want to get a Russian tortoise. My neighbor had me look after hers when she traveled and I came to be really attached to it and would love one of my own. Am I missing the tortoise thread somewhere or is it acceptable to start a thread despite knowing only the very basics about what it takes to keep one?
