I don't buy the bad blood circulation explanation since he never appears to mind the cold in previous chapters. -'Has you camera always felt this heavy' -Both still using their family names to refer to each other -His... pained? nostalgic? look in the last frame -The ba-bmp sound effect, like a beating heart, and Isaki's expression before the black boxes cover her face -(Possibly) Ganta talking about 'me' when the message says 'everyone's here' But then the author goes and says otherwise so it's either the author deciding against it after the fact or just a lot of viewer misdirection for maximum open-endedness.
