I caught up on bisque doll from where the anime ended and I have two thoughts: A) Just kiss that boy already he's not gonna understand until then, Marin. B) I love how deep they'll get into these bits of media the characters are so into. There was a 30 pages stretch of nothing but lore and art and pages from "Mandate of Heaven" with talk about the author and the artistic choices the mangaka made all really thought out and bringing out some new bit of characterization for Marin and Gojo and crew as they talk about it. And it gives me panels like this so I can pretend this is all a secret SMT manga:

I think giving Gojo a few chapters to work through some things would be neat because so far the guy's killing himself to make this poo poo and the reason for it is something he needs to work through because he's largely been going with the flow and dragged into this. So Unironically this Haystack posted:Oh boy oh boy, I sure hope that the main characters continue not talking to each other and brood a lot, that certainly helps me appreciate cosplay more.
