Speaking of the insane fans, I've heard numerous conflicting stories about the Homestuck Cosplayers at cons. Australia's finally getting Comic-Con (With Stan Lee and Sir Patrick Stewart  )As a general rule, should I just steer the gently caress clear of them? Make no mention of the fact it's a comic I read, and don't make eye contact?

No, I'm with John on this one. Things like Ghostbusters the MMO are something you have to take 100% seriously. You do not understand the intensity and the stress of organizing a forty-denizen raid on the Stay-Puft man. We had to farm Sugar Resistance gear for MONTHS leading up to this fight. We had to trim a lot of deadwood, people unwilling to do the mandatory Gozer runs, over and over. I must have busted that boss over ninety times before I FINALLY got [Egon's Boots of Sugar Resistance]. Some Salamanders aren't willing to put in that sort of dedication. We run the most prestigious guild on the server, and we have to stay on the cutting edge of busting content, to maintain our sponsorships. Props to John for trying to reach the level of seriousness needed.
