I was trying to find a way of phrasing the feeling I was getting from this show, and that's exactly it. It's like Studio Ghibli made an anime. It's very light, but things are not going well. It's a bit dark, but it makes you feel good about yourself. It's such a unique balance. The animation quality certainly helps that feeling, too.

I figured his aunt worked in an observatory. He just visited her at work. She just happens to live in the bottom of the observatory.
