I (my parents) have two cats. The smart black one has caught and killed countless mice, cicadas, sparrows, and robins. She has caught at least half a dozen chipmunks, which end up about 50% dead, 25% escaped, and 25% up a giant maple tree in the backyard. Can chipmunks climb back down? If not, there's a sizable chipmunk graveyard in that tree. But the biggest thing she's killed was a rabbit. The other dumbass cat is too stupid to hunt, but once he caught a hummingbird! Then he was too scared to do anything with it so my dad took it away and set it free.
