I actually had to add the subtitles myself since the game doesn't have an option for them and it'd be nigh-impossible to understand most of what Drake is saying without this help. Though it's pretty close to whatever faux-comic font they use of the menu. The rest is definitely the game though and I can't justify any of it. I dunno if you mean me or Drake for that second bit, but if it's the latter then my current hypothesis (pretending as though I don't know the rest of the game) is that Drake lives in a Sisyphean nightmare where he forced to watch himself fail at this mission over and over, with his revival constantly putting him in more outlandish situations from which he cannot escape. If it's the former, I bought this myself having seen the game up to about Mission 5 and having to know what happened since no other full playthrough of the game existed. And therefore this happened. YEAH like the real problem with the game's story is that nothing really seems to be played for laughs even though there are so many moments, particularly in the latest episode, that are outright laughable. Drake is always supposed to be this big badass assassin but a lot of his lines and actions come off as ridiculous. It's AMAZING.

Your encyclopedic knowledge of Drake and Josh is kind of frightening. Also wow, I always knew voice acting wasn't a high-paying gig, but I'd figure voicing Spider-Man (like Drake Bell is doing nowadays) would earn you more than $2820 a month. And regarding that other Drake, I almost wish there was an actual cut version because that INVINCIBLE line reading was pretty amazing.

Ultimate Spider-Man (the current series) is generally awful, yes. But it does get ratings, and it's still going. And the pay thing... I don't know.
