Zettace posted:I rewatched the first few episodes of the series and I forgot how socially awkward Miho was. Stuff like "I memorized the full names of everyone in our class as well as their birthdays just incase they wanted to be friends with me" and her surprise at people talking to her as well having to draw out the courage to invite Akiyama to their group. Upon rewatching, I was pretty struck by the fact it made a lot of sense for Maho and their mother to treat Miho so coldly. After the river incident, they probably had a huge fight that ended with Miho quitting senshado forever, and her asking to be transferred to Oarai so she wouldn't have to play tanks anymore. And then the next time they see her, Miho has started her own senshado team, but with blackjack and hookers. It makes Miho look spiteful and tired of living in her sister's shadow, and we know that's not true at all. What I'm saying is, the Nishizumi style isn't big on communication. filthychimp fucked around with this message at 02:14 on Jun 8, 2016 |
