Basically, Saori is the true savoir of the school by bring the main group together.

Also, when Miho wakes up at the start of the first episode you see her jump out of bed and rush to make her bed and change into her uniform, military style (because that's probably what she had to do at home). After watching the series it's pretty interesting to see the importance of scenes like these.
