Jose posted:a lot of them seem obvious but who knows with this manga. in massive spoilers though cosmo is on the volume 11 over Covers aren't necessarily spoilers. Himuro Ryo is on the cover of Volume 7, which we just started, but he lost his spot in the tournament to Kaneda Suekichi back in Volume 5.

El Burbo posted:Remember that fighters and corporations are not kicked off the island after they lose (I think), which allows story stuff involving them to still happen even if they're not fighting in matches themselves This is correct. One of the best things about Kengan Asura is that defeated opponents usually come back instead of disappearing forever like most manga. Makes it feel like the world doesn't just revolve around the protagonist.

I'm so glad this series is being done by Hokuto no Gun, they really do it justice. The typesetting in particular is unreal.Oh Snapple! posted:I genuinely don't think there's a hyper panel than "The Dragon Shot...Misfires" That whole chapter may be the hypest chapter ever.

Kanos posted:Killing, probably not too high? He mostly does massive surface level trauma leading to a lot of blood loss, since he's effectively pinching your flesh off at high speed. Someone dying against him would probably die from blood loss, which would end the match long before their actual death because they'd pass the gently caress out first. He'd probably need to hit someone in the neck to kill them outright. That reminds me of Rihito's introduction way back in Chapter 3 of the original series, when he slashed Ivan's neck... then like a hundred chapters later, turned out Ivan survived. Ahh, this takes me back to "reading" Vietnamese raws of Kengan Asura a hundred chapters ahead of the translation. In a funny way, it was more exciting than reading the English translations; experiencing the fights solely by visuals made them more unpredictable, I guess. My reaction to this chapter:
