I hope STALKER 2 will deliver on providing a good open world wasteland FPS. I want something in that setting now after watching the Fallout show, and i've played everything else with this setting that was good.

i got an xbox one because the only ps4 exclusive i gave a hot poo poo about was resogun i still might pick up a ps4 some day if i find one for cheap just for resogun but other than that i just could not care any less about playstation's exclusive titles, at all. of course microsoft has not been doing great on that front either and if not for gamepass i would certainly not have bought a series s, so.

While this might not be the game to do it with, you could, if you have a PC, sign up for PS+ Premium and stream Resogun. The stock software only works with a DualShock 4 (for some reason it doesn't support a DualSense directly) but you can use third-party software to con any controller into thinking it's a DS4.

PS4 was where I went on launch day and Resogun was amazing, but I bought an Xbox One not that long after (probably when they dropped Kinect, I don't recall how far after launch that was?) and for the first couple of years I vastly preferred the Xbox One. Titanfall being a big part of it because Titanfall was loving amazing. I also liked the hardware. Preferred the controller. Preferred the box itself. Found it's obnoxious VCR energy quite endearing, but also I am super fussy about hardware noise and I always appreciated how much quieter and cooler the Xbox seemed to run compared to the PS4.

After being all about Xbox ever since the OG, I went PS4 after the Xbox One presentation. I regret it because I didn't enjoy any of the PS exclusives (except Horizon Zero Dawn) and more than half of the 3rd party games I bought eventually ended up on game pass. I should have never left.

PS4 had nothing of interest to me until Bloodborne and very little of interest after that save for the Last Guardian. Xbone wasn't much better until the One S came out and they started to develop backwards compatibility. The consoles of the generation were so lame over all that it pushed me into PC gaming for a bit until the One X brought me back

One of the best sequels just because it adds so much but for me it's more like a 8.5 to 9 depending on how much you like the IP. The enemy variety in these type of games is something only Fromsoft and Team Ninja have been able to get it. Kinda gets boring fighting a bedlam raider for the 100th time.

Keep doing the main story and don't get too bogged down by collectibles, exploration or side-activities, would be my advice. You'll gradually unlock tools that make that stuff far easier to do later on.Jose Oquendo posted:Do whatever Turgle tells you to do.

It’s fantastic too, I played 1 and 2 on Dreamcast and it just nails the controls unlike that other previous remake. And looks great, great soundtrack etc.
