I just binged this series over the last week. Immediately windmill slammed the english physical volumes, a preorder for the world guide, and this av.

Impossibly excited for the rumoured(?) anime.

I keep trying to get people to buy Delicious in Dungeon at work (I work at a Barnes and Noble) and I don't get a lot of bites! What's a good, succinct way to get people interested in it?

If you're like literally talking to people in-store? Uhhh I guess try a story with very loveable and very dumb characters on an adventure, with great world-building, genuinely heartwarming moments, and just really funny gags, all wrapped in a fantasy setting revolving around cooking and eating fantasy monsters while a very gay elf screams about it the whole time.

And then give them a little printout of this panel:

Really interesting implication that the races were granted their disparate lifespans instead of it being innate.

Lovely chapter of winding things down. I do wish that the series would at least hit 100 chapters for the milestone and mostly because so few series really take their time in the victory lap and tying up their world. With that said, one more chapter feels good enough.

The Laios power move with the elves wasn't too unexpected (I think someone called it here even), but felt great. Also wow yeah that lion cape is doing wonders for him.

I was gonna post it in the other thread but it has direct manga comparisons so someone would probably get mad.

Ohh I was wondering about this, and this gets so tantalizing close to telling us what his parents could possible think about Laios suddenly becoming a king.

His mom strikes much too close too home, though nice to know they were both well-meaning enough.

BTW for whoever recommended the Delicious in Dungeon expo earlier, apparently I need to register an account before I can order a ticket and attach a Japanese mobile phone number so the website can call me to authenticate the account.... But I don't have a Japanese phone number yet, so I guess that's not happening. Do I need to wait until I arrive in Japan to have my hotel help me purchase the ticket? Honestly the way Japan seems to handle reserving tickets and restaurants is simply maddening if you're still overseas, so I don't know how you all do this stuff. :psyboom:

I had the exact same problem trying to get tickets to a Bocchi the Rock exhibit while overseas and eventually gave up and waited til I landed in Japan to buy tickets in a Lawson at their physical machine :v:

Is it not available through various book retailers? Digitally too, even.

Anyone notice how Izutsumi's fingers and non-black parts were also depicted as furry? So is she supposed to be covered in flesh-colored fur? I always thought that her furry parts were the black parts and the light parts were normal skin.

They've always been fur, yeah. The sauna chapter makes that a bit more apparent.

I guess the weirder thing is she doesn't have paw pads like a cat.
