I would watch Speed Racer and some other random kid friendly dubbed stuff like Serendipity from VHS's we would rent in the early 90s. Our local video store had a huge collection of anime and other foreign TV shows, it's now a non profit and the largest public video store in the world. Beyond that it was just the usual Sailor Moon or whatever else aired on US TV. DC++ and torrents came into existence, and I started watching multiple shows a season from the early 2000s on.
