Hi guys. My Lab/Shepherd/Akita dog of 10 years (11 in Jan) was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (or potentially a bone infection) today which is basically a death sentence. The vet and everything I've seen online indicates he's got less than a year to live, if he's lucky. And if he's lucky enough to live that long he's at increasing risk of fracturing the bone. I honestly don't know why I started writing this. Maybe I'm hoping someone else had a dog that went through the same thing. Maybe I just need to write out my thoughts. Maybe someone will bless him with a new leg or turn him 3 years old again. Please hug your friends for me.
