Post some of your favorite memories from wrestling. It can be any promotion from any time period, as long as it's something that made an impression. You know what was great? A lot of the mid-card acts in WCW. The stuff with Raven and his Flock, DDP being a people's champion, Chris Jericho's heel act. All wonderful stuff that along with a hot main really helped WCW compete with WWF. I was probably more into WCW's midcard than its main outside of the Sting stuff for all of 96 - 98. You know what else was great? That time Terry Funk came out to the theme of a Western as his entrance music. Terry Funk is wonderful. https://twitter.com/maffewgregg/status/954038250209009666?lang=en

Y'know what was great? Shawn Michaels' absolutely best Sweet Chin Music, performed on Shelton Benjamin. I'm still not sure how the hell they made this work. Y'know what else was great? Miz's facial reaction to Braun coming out at the end of the gauntlet match a couple years ago. That's the best selling of a monster face entrance I've seen in ages.

The first hour of Nitro during the mid-late nineties whipped serious rear end. Sure, I flipped to Raw when it started, but it got my night going fast.

I wonder if data exists on how many people he injured with this move. Because I've never heard of anybody being explicitly injured with it but holy poo poo. Also a reminder: That if Scott Steiner's body hadn't given out on him by the time he was 35 and he had been able to marry his persona and his athleticism he probably would have squashed Richochet in KSA last week. He didn't make our list but early Scott Steiner had serious GOAT potential. Here he is doing his damnedest to invent the 450 splash in 1987. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYOfUI1siCE ChrisBTY fucked around with this message at 00:58 on Mar 10, 2020 |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9LdKw2GzJs In fact, extend this to almost everything the Big Boss Man did in his late 90s run. That dude was great. He never did anything because it made sense as a way to achieve his goal, he was just pure evil and he loved doing bad things to others.
