i got given a swedish rap cdr mix ages ago and for a long time that was my total exposure to swedish rap. that just d song was on it, weirdly. or not so weirdly? was that a huge hit? did swedes really want their own beastie boys? (the other stuff on the disc was like a lot of petter and latin kings and early timbuktu, to give you an idea of the era)
