I just remember when I worked for an ISP there were a couple customers so paranoid they would get cagey about giving out their address for service calls. To their ISP. Who already has their address on file. So I associate "off grid" with weird nutjob.

Is mounting TVs unreasonably high a fairly recent trend? I've seen it show up in a lot of these houses, and it just makes me picture bars and airports and bus stations. If I am watching a movie I don't want to have to crane my neck to be looking up the entire time.
