So far we have raised $6313.50 with foreign currencies converted to USD We have donated in 30 states and 7 countries. US total is $5493.40 World is $399.37. And one mystery donation of $420.69 because he wouldn't say what state or country lol. Washington state leads with $2185.50

Mine was to the Capital Area Food Bank, which actually covers DC, and also parts of MD, and VA, so maybe we can count VA (it's where I live anyways).

Back in 2007 I was depressed and trying to graduate and coming up short on money so I was grateful to be able to go to a food bank for help. Over the years I kept meaning to repay that kindness and finally actually followed through. Hope this isn’t too in advance to count, there’s so few things more hilarious than ball tazing heart attacks.

Arizona is sadly under-represented in the balls tazing department, so I decided to fix that while at the same time helping out a local food bank that works completely on a volunteer basis so that 100% of the donation goes into the actual food, allowing them to somehow serve 7 meals per $1 donated.

Just a note to the people who are donating, if possible money is a better donation than food. It allows the food bank to buy what they need and they are often able to get more for the money than you are due to their partnerships within the community. I'm not trying to discourage food donations if that's all you can do, but money is preferable for food banks.
