Are these on actual tribal land reserved/held in trust, or just land the tribe owns? Since weed is still federally illegal cultivation/sales on tribal land are still a de facto no unless the bia/dea has changed their policies since I last heard

There was an instance in California where a tribe near San Diego wanted to open a medicinal dispensary/grow and they spent a long time hashing it out with the BIA who finally approved it, and as they were about to open thinking they had federal approval the DEA raided them and shut it all down
