Oh I didn't see there was a layoff thread until just now. Got laid off a week ago, and honestly I feel so much better than when I was working, even though I know tech is a mess and I'm likely to see long term salary loss from this.

even on the higher end, i have had job interviews that did 5 or 9 panel tests and 100% pissed dirty for weed on them, and it was never an issue in washington, unless you're driving a CDL or courting a company with federal contracting: so, MIC jobs and like, the kind of poo poo I'm not interested in at all, nobody is gonna refuse to hire you for having cannabis in your system. I don't even get punished by doctors or anybody else in the chain of my mental/medical healthcare i cant speak to other legal states but grass is so much an assumed part of life in washington, that you have to be working for like merchants of death before you run into anyone that cares.
