this manga kicks rear end and gero is an excellent protagonist. my one tiny gripe is that his obsession with popin cookin comes off as a calculated affectation by the author to soften the edge of an extremely strong and cool character, in the same vein as mash + creampuffs, saiki + coffee jelly, gintoki + parfaits, killua + choco balls, etc. its just a touch too an ame for me…
