That makes sense considering that Ghibli's illustrations are relatively simple in terms of line work and shading. However the magic of Ghibli is animation, which AI clearly still sucks at. Good animation requires knowing a lot about the world works which image trained AIs don't have. Also everyone is the backgrounds are completely hosed up

Also they no doubt generated hundreds and hundreds of images and most of them would have been even more screwed up, someone had to go through them all and pick out the four best ones for that tweet He's outta control!! He's already killed two people and mounted their heads on a fence!
