I really love this movie. Cage's nasally deadpan monotone and bored face really fit well with this rear end in a top hat character who just doesn't get why he can't stop being a loving rear end in a top hat.

I recommend Aguirre: The Wrath of God, and Stroszek. Both were also directed by Werner Herzog.

Deadfall is amazing. It seems utterly worthless without Nic Cage, but it doesn't stay that way after he dies. The film reveals itself to be the story of the low-level thugs hired by super villains. No lie. That's what it is. Every character is some dude you'd kick in the face to steal his cheeseburger in a beat em up game.
