So I got myself a big boy camera (5D III) and some decent lenses. However with the full frame, coming from a cropped censor camera, I miss some of the focal length of the cropped world. After thinking about potential remedies and new things to toy with, I came across the suspiciously cheap world of lens attachments that I generally wrote off a bullshit that your middle aged "pro," photographer mom that just bought a Rebel XT would buy. Is tech like this absolutely not worth it and a waste? Or are they actually useful and don't totally take a poo poo on the image quality? Some items I've been looking at and considering are things like this: http://www.amazon.com/67mm-Angle-Canon-18-135mm-3-5-5-6/dp/B00IRIDSYC/ref=sr_1_8?s=photo&ie=UTF8&qid=1401954618&sr=1-8&keywords=canon+ef http://www.amazon.com/Altura-Profes...ywords=canon+ef I'm not expecting these to take the place of a dedicated macros, telephoto, or wide angle lens, I'm just looking for something comparable that doesn't cost be over a thousand bucks. The above listed are some of the first few items that I came across that interested me. If these aren't a total waste, can you guys recommend some and chime in on quality? If you have anything like this, got any image samples? The lenses in particular that I'd like to supplement are 77mm and 52mm. So lets talk! Thanks for reading and for the input you may have.

They're probably complete trash except for "close-up filters" which can give you okay-ish but not great macro performance for not very many dollars.

Also literally nothing these ~adapters~ is attempting to give you would cost more than a few hundred dollars to get an actual legit good lens. So, to re-iterate, all gear is poo poo, hail satan. Go to the thread for whatever brand you shoot and tell them what you need and ask what's a good value.
