Well I just got my desktop out of a climate controlled storage unit after 6 months. After hooking everything back up, I pressed the power button and it made the usual bootup fan sounds and whatnot. Nothing appeared on the screen though. I tried fiddling with the harddrive and the wires (it's loose, I had it out of the HDD slot in the past) and when I pressed the power button again it made the fan noises for a few seconds then went completely dead.

I don't think it's shot or anything, I remember having this problem before...I just can't remember how I fixed it. Would appreciate a lil help, thanks.

My mistake, figured it out though. Needed to use a different PSU plug for the harddrive. Close this thread
